Dr. Nguyen Hoang Lam is a passionate and highly skilled ophthalmologist at American Eye Center Vietnam. He graduated as a general physician from Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine in 2012 and completed his International Master’s degree in Ophthalmology at the University of Sydney, Australia, in 2016. Since starting his ophthalmology practice in 2014, Dr. Lam has continually enhanced his expertise by attending domestic and international training courses and conferences, as well as participating in global medical projects.
With a deep passion for pediatric ophthalmology, Dr. Hoang Lam has dedicated many years to research, clinical practice, and collaborating with colleagues to implement screening programs and manage eye health for children—especially preschool and primary school kids.

Coordinating with international specialists at American Eye Center for complex surgeries
Beyond clinical work, Dr. Lam actively engages in community education:
Frequently organizing talks and seminars at schools about myopia prevention and eye care in children
Providing free resources and consultations for parents and teachers on common pediatric eye health issues
